Reincarnations Offers Unique Items in Saline
The Saline shop features eclectic wares and is always getting new products.

Saline’s Merchant Square has a new resident. Reincarnations Resale has been open for business for about a month, and its owner, Michele Ingalls, said she has been surprised by the reception she has received so far.
“I have been just overwhelmed by the welcome and the kindness (from Saline). I couldn’t have asked for anything more,” Ingalls said.
The store features a large variety of objects, both from consignment and her personal hunting through estate sales and auctions. Old license plates and tools hang on the walls of the shop, and knick-knacks are scattered on all the flat surfaces. Ingalls said she’s pretty liberal about what she’s accepting, since she’s not sure what will or won’t sell in Saline. The things people bring in are always exciting to Ingalls, like lava lamps, antique furniture and fad clothing.

“It’s really cool. It’s like Christmas every day because you don’t know what’s coming in and you don’t know when you open the box, what’s going to be in there,” Ingalls said.
The store features some unique items, like a turn-of-the-century (well, two centuries ago, now) blackjack table, and new things are always coming in.

“I’ve been dabbling in antiques for a long time. It’s been a sideline for years and years,” said Ingalls.
The store, located at 109 W. Michigan Avenue, is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. (7 p.m. on Thursdays).
“We have new things coming in every single day. Stop by, if you didn’t find something you can’t live without today, maybe you will tomorrow,” Ingalls said.
