Shari Pollesch Holding Event June 14 at Mt. Brighton

Shari Pollesch, Democratic candidate for the 22nd State Senate District, will hold a fund-raiser on Saturday, June 14, in Brighton.

The event will be at Mt. Brighton’s Ore Creek Grill from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. and will feature entertainment by Billy Mack and the Juke Joint Johnnies, as well as appetizers and beverages.

Hosts for the event are Don Lewis, Sara and Rick Thomas, Lorne and Kathi Gordon-Beatty, Dr. Tom and Chris Claflin, Bill and Julie Bohnhorst-Dodson, the Rev. Karen MacFarland, Don Root, and Terry Sharik. Sponsors for the event are Joyce Powers, Mary Temple, Jim and Joanne Swonk, Garry Post, and Robert Hill.

Shari is the only Democratic candidate in the 22nd State Senate District, which includes all of Livingston County and Western Washtenaw County covering the city of Chelsea; the villages of Dexter and Manchester, and the townships of Lyndon, Dexter, Webster, Northfield, Sylvan, Lima, Scio, Sharon, Freedom, Lodi, Manchester, Bridgewater, and Saline.

Shari is committed to policies that put people before special interests, children’s education before political agendas, seniors before corporate tax cuts and a clean environment before big energy profits. As a voice of reason in Lansing, Shari will work to reverse policies that are unfairly burdening the middle class and will fight for a smart government that puts people first.

Shari, who lives in Hartland Township, has been a practicing attorney in Brighton for 25 years.
