The most beloved Christmas carol, “Silent Night,” was written almost by accident. A young priest, an Austrian village and a damaged organ all took part in the creation of this classic hymn. The action takes place in a small Alpine Village. The new priest Father Josef comes to town, delights the children, and turns the little church upside down with his new ways, much to the chagrin of the crusty housekeeper and grumpy choirmaster. With a bit of embellishment, some memorable characters, and favorite holiday tunes, this staging of the almost catastrophe will be a delight for the whole family!
