• Shelby girls soccer wins district crown, headed to regionals (shorelinemedia.net) — Shelby’s girls varsity soccer team has captured the Division 4 District 51 title with a 3–0 win over Mount Pleasant Sacred Heart, powered by strong defense and three second-half goals. After earlier success in McBain, the Tigers headed to Cadillac on June 2 for a regional semifinal against Ovid-Elsie, with results pending at press time.
