8th Annual Anthony Milana Memorial Blood Drive in Shelby Township! Walk-ins Welcome! Help Save Lives!
at Graceful Moves Dance on 54728 Shelby Road in Shelby Township on Sunday, July 26th from 9 am to 2:45 pm Walk-ins welcome!

“In 2007, our Dad, Tony, was diagnosed with lymphoma. For several months he would make weekly trips to a local hospital for blood transfusions. We would discuss then how we were going to replace all the blood he was given.
He made the decision that year to have a bone marrow transplant and passed away in December of 2007 from complications after the transplant. After his passing, as hard as it was, we knew we had to do something to honor him and give back like all those people that so selflessly gave blood and even bone marrow.
We decided as a family to host our first blood drive July of 2008 and now it is our 8th year hosting the Anthony Milana Memorial Blood Drive with the Red Cross. Our Dad was a quiet and humble man and would be overwhelmed by all the donors that come out each year to support us and help make our drive successful each year” – Angela Seip daughter of Anthony Milana.

If at least two more donors – above what is expected – gave blood at each Red Cross blood drive this month, it would help ensure blood is available whenever and wherever it is needed. The need for blood is constant. Every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs a blood transfusion.
Patients don’t get a break from needing blood. The need is constant.
