Automotive News: Shelby Dealership One Of The Best To Work For
Meade Lexus of Lakeside named one of the best in industry.
A Shelby Township dealership was named one of Automotive News’ Best Dealerships To Work For. The publication recognized in its July 9 issue as one of the best in the U.S. and Canada.
Automotive News partnered with Best Companies Group to identify dealerships that have excelled in creating quality workplaces for employees. The program measured workplace satisfaction through a confidential survey of employers and employees.
“The feedback we received was invaluable in knowing what we’re doing right and what we might be able to improve upon moving forward,” said Ken Meade, owner of Meade Lexus of Lakeside. “Being named to the list was simply an honorary bonus, and we are just grateful to our many dedicated employees who continue to contribute to the quality of our workplace.”

Meade Lexus of Lakeside was one of the first Lexus dealerships in the country opening in 1989. The dealership offers new, pre-owned, and Certified Pre-Owned Lexus vehicles, as well as Lexus parts and service.
There were five other U.S. Lexus dealers to also receive the recognition. The top dealerships will be ranked and revealed at the Best Dealerships To Work For program and gala awards dinner on Oct. 17, 2012 at the Ritz-Carlton Chicago, and profiled in an Automotive News special section on Oct. 22, 2012.
