BAKER COLLEGE OF CLINTON TOWNSHIP SALUTES GRADUATES SATURDAY, JUNE 14

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. – The 2014 commencement ceremonies for approximately 720 Baker College of Clinton Township students will be held Saturday, June 14, at Bethesda Christian Church, 14000 Metropolitan Parkway, Sterling Heights. 

The first of two ceremonies begins at 11 a.m. for graduates of Baker’s health sciences, education and human services programs, followed at 3 p.m. by commencement for graduates of the programs for computer information services, business administration, health services, and engineering and technology, including automotive. 

“We are looking forward to a congratulatory ceremony that recognizes the accomplishments of our students,” said Donald R. Torline, Baker College of Clinton Township president. “Our graduates should be commended for choosing to invest in themselves to gain the skills and training necessary for workplace success.”

Sarah Nabinger, of Harrison Township, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in human services, will address the class of 2014 at the morning commencement. Linda Homan, of Roseville, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in computer science, will speak at the afternoon event. 

The 3 p.m. ceremony includes two graduates who have earned degrees from Baker College Center for Graduate Studies.  One is Kallen Jones, director of career services for Baker College of Clinton Township. She will receive a Master of Business Administration.
