Parents invited to Family Science Night on Thursday

UCS, Discovery Education to provide hand-on demonstrations on Thursday between 6-15-8:30 p.m. at Henry Ford II High School, 11911 Clinton River Rd.

Discovery Education and Utica Community Schools cordially invite all K-6
students, parents and community members to Family Science Night. UCS families
can learn more about Discovery Education Science “Techbook” and experience the
hands-on and digital science resources being used in the classroom to ignite
your child’s natural curiosity in learning.

The family night will be held Thursday, November 29 between 6:15-8:30 p.m. at
Henry Ford II High School, 11911 Clinton River Rd. This special event
features:

  • Free pizza served promptly at 6:15 p.m., courtesy of Discovery Education
  • A screening of Discovery Channel’s FROZEN PLANET
  • Family hands-on science demonstrations
  • Parent/guardian overview of Discovery Education Science Techbook
