Say goodbye to temporaries!

Dealing with uncomfortable temporaries is a thing of the past, since our office purchased a new E4D cad-cam Restoration System.

The E4D cad-cam system allows us to provide all porcelain crowns, inlays, onlays and veneers in only one day. This usually eliminates the need for a temporary restoration. 

How does it work? First we take a digital scan of the patient’s tooth (cleaner and faster than conventional impressions). Then a custom restoration is designed to fit the patient’s unique smile and is transferred to the milling unit where the crown or veneer is created. Next, the custom restoration is placed in the patient’s mouth. The entire process happens in our office, and in just one day. 

We have found this new technology can be used on approximately 85 percent of our crown procedures. And the best news, there is no increased cost to our patients for this procedure.
