Taming That Noisy, But Loveable, Dog
Make visits with Grandma more enjoyable. Great training class to help tame unruly dogs when company comes over and in everyday life.

We have all been there. The dreaded ring of the doorbell or the knock at the door and the chaos begins! "MOMMMMMMM!!!!!! Grandma is HERRRRRRE!!!!!!!!!"
Your first response may be, "Someone get the dog!" or you scramble to manage this task yourself. Fearlessly, either holding back your big dog by the collar, or the small dog gets picked up and of course starts barking. The person coming to visit almost always has that look on their face. The look that in one expression says, "Yikes. Here we go again."
If you have noticed that no one wants to come over to anymore, this may be why. People have such a hard time managing a jumping dog, and the company at the door shouldn't be held responsible for this task.
Even a dog that may not "jump up!" yet is simply "unruly" when company arrives or a delivery is dropped off can be difficult to handle. Following some simple steps and practicing when the company is NOT at the door is key! You can't train a dog with a learned behavior in the middle of the chaos. The trick is for YOU to jump for joy with excitement when your dog does the right thing WITHOUT company at the door. One day, with practice and consistency, Grandma will be able to come over, without feeling like she could get knocked out!
