UCS elementary schools to host March 6 kindergarten open house

Kindergarten night will begin registration process for 2013-2014 kindergarten students

Parents of students who will be starting kindergarten this fall can begin the 2013-2014 registration process for Utica Community Schools.

The district will be hosting its annual kindergarten open houses at each of its 25 elementary schools on Wednesday, March 6 at 7 p.m.

The open houses will give parents the opportunity to learn about the UCS kindergarten programs, meet teachers and building staff and submit registration forms.

Students are eligible for kindergarten if they turn five years old on or before November 1, 2013. However, parents of students who turn five between November 1 and December 1, 2013 are eligible to enroll in kindergarten if they submit a waiver form.
