UCS elementary students are picture perfect in county art show

Eight UCS students have been honored with top awards in the Macomb County K-6 Student art show.

UCS elementary students earned one best in grade honor and seven honorable mentions at the annual show, which featured works from 30 schools from across Macomb County.

Wiley Elementary third grader Graciana Dushaj earned a Best in Grade honor at the show. Honorable mentions were awarded to: 6th-grader Lucas Peck, of Beacon Tree Elementary; 5th-grader Mason Palicke, of Monfort Elementary; 2nd-grader Alyssa Nezich, of Morgan Elementary; 5th-grader Natalia Pfeffer, of Morgan Elementary; Nathan Edwards, of Wiley Elementary; and 3rd grader Cecilia Goble, of Wiley Elementary; and 6th-grader Emily Maze, of Wiley Elementary.

All student art works are being displayed through March 18 at the Anton Art Center, 125 Macomb Place in Mount Clemens.
