UHS theatre alumni reunite for special performance

Utica High School Theatre alumni recently returned home from across Michigan and the country for a special performance.

Utica High School Theatre alumni returned home from across Michigan and the country for a special performance recently.

The show was titled ReUnion and featured 28 theatre alumni dating back to 2005. The alumni met at the Utica High School Performing Arts Center at 9:00am, rehearsed, and performed ten scenes.

The former students received their scripts in September and were cast in different comedy sketches with partners who they may or may not have shared the stage with during their high school years.

The production was produced by Utica High School’s Stage Craft Class, and in between each comedy scene, the audience watched video memories celebrating the last 20 shows.
