Car club helps drive reading at Duncan

Reading at Duncan Elementary has moved into the fast lane, thanks to a local car club and the school's namesake.

The Eastside A’s Car Club, represented by Vice President, Judy Allen, paid a visit to Duncan to present a check for more than $800 to purchase more media center books. 

The donation was made in honor of the school's namesake - Richard Duncan - a long-time member of the club.

Mr. Duncan has supported the club with the restoration of many historical cars, including a Ford Model A.
