Fall Festival at Shadbush

Come to Shadbush Nature Center this weekend for the free fall festival.

Discover pioneer life through historical presentations and demonstrations, including wood carving, use of herbs, corn shelling and grinding, bee keeping and more. Visitors can tour the log cabin and see people dressed in clothing of the time spinning, quilting and cooking.

The Voyaguers de Ste. Clair will be on site, in costume and displaying artifacts as they offer guests a window to the past.

Children will be amused by era-appropriate games, wagon rides, farm animals and seeing what kinds of chores were done back in the day.
