If your son or daughter is about to enter the wonderful world of music by joining the school band or is considering upgrading their instrument, here is a great opportunity to purchase an instrument at a reasonable price and avoid rental fees.
The UTICA HIGH SCHOOL INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC BOOSTERS will host the 27th Annual Used Instrument Sale on Saturday, September 24, 2011 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Utica High School, 47255 Shelby Road at 21 Mile Road.
Instruments at the sale run the gamut from entry and beginner level instruments to upper level quality instruments. The selection varies from band instruments, string instruments, drum sets and even guitars.

Also, do you have an instrument sitting in a closet collecting dust? Let the Boosters try to sell it for you! The seller will receive 80% of the sale price and the UHS Boosters will receive 20% of the sale price. The Boosters will use sale proceeds for projects benefitting the instrumental music programs at Utica High School. If you have an instrument to sell, bring it to the Utica High School band room on Saturday, September 24, between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. An appraiser will be available to help price your instrument.
