Henry Ford II High School in Utica Community Schools is inviting alumni and former staff back home to celebrate its 50th year.
The high school will celebrate its golden anniversary at its annual homecoming game on Friday, October 6 and by opening its doors for past, present and future Falcons on Saturday, October 7.

“Henry Ford II High School has been a difference maker in the lives of so many of our graduates, and we are proud to honor this community’s legacy of success,” Superintendent of Schools Robert Monroe said. “Our celebration will give all former students and staff the opportunity to come back, reminisce with friends, walk familiar halls and reconnect with their roots.”
The school, which was dedicated by its namesake in 1973, will hold its first weekend celebration when the varsity football team takes on Utica High School for its annual homecoming game on Friday, October 6 beginning at 7 p.m. at Runkel Field, 39701 Dodge Park Rd (north of 17 Mile Road). Shuttles will run from Henry Ford II to the game continuously from 5:45 to 10:30 p.m.

The following day, Saturday, October 7, Henry Ford II High School will open its doors from 10 a.m. to noon to allow visitors to take self-guided tours and celebrate the school’s history. The morning will begin with a short program in the commons beginning at 10 a.m.
“Our schools are the focal points of our community, and it will be exciting to see former friends and colleagues gather to celebrate the people and traditions that make UCS such a special place,” Monroe said.
