Ford II students are a relief

Henry Ford II High School students stepped in with relief assistance to help a Warren senior citizen with a flooded basement from recent storms.

The community service project was arranged by teacher Matt Trombley in coordination with the Warren City Council and Southern Baptist Disaster Relief, a national organization that assists people in need across the U.S. and world.

The students aided the elderly man by removing and organizing the contents of his flooded basement. They then assisted in disposing of ruined items. The homeowner, a retired autoworker, has lived in the home in 1964.
