• Illegal immigrant sentenced for grabbing agent's gun in fight outside Utica store (macombdaily.com) — A federal judge has sentenced a 33-year-old Venezuelan man to four years in prison for assaulting a federal agent and briefly grabbing the agent's gun outside the Sam's Club on Utica Park Boulevard in Utica. The March 4 confrontation followed an immigration enforcement operation in the store's parking lot, and left two agents injured before the suspect was subdued and later pleaded guilty.
