Heights, Saturday, May 3, 2014 from 10 am to 2 pm. Both cats and dogs are
welcome and no
residency is required. Vaccines are $10 each along with heartworm tests and
microchips for $20. Both cash and credit cardare accepted. Parasite treatment

Macomb County Animal Shelter and All About Animals Rescue are
working together to help people afford lifesaving services for pets. Spring
signals a rise in deadly diseases like parvo, distemper and leptospirosis which
are easily prevented through vaccinations. Warmer weather also means pesky
parasites. But mosquitos, fleas and ticks aren’t just a nuisance; they infect
pets with diseases and worms. “It’s so important to stay current on your pet’s
wellness care,” says Amber Sitko, President and Founder of All About Animals
Rescue. “Nothing breaks the heart more then when you see a pet suffering and
know they didn’t have too.”
