Physical Therapist T.J. Hosa Joins The Recovery Project's Livonia Clinic
Leading Physical Therapy Clinic Hires New Talent

The Recovery Project, a leading provider of high-intensity physical and occupational therapy, announced today that T.J. Hosa has joined the team as a physical therapist at the company’s Livonia clinic. The Recovery Project Co-CEO Polly Swingle, PT, GCS, CEEAA, made the announcement.
Hosa will perform high-intensity therapeutic programs for The Recovery Project’s clients, focusing on people with traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries, and other moderate to severe neurological disorders.
“Hosa’s experience with cardiopulmonary and Parkinson’s disease makes him a great asset to our Livonia clinic,” said Swingle. “His prior years of research and dedication to helping clients through customized programs will add knowledge and experience to our growing team.”

Hosa earned his doctorate of physical therapy from Ohio University and his bachelor’s degree in exercise science with a minor in sociology from Ohio State University. During graduate school he attended a 3-week service trip to Botswana, Africa, where he worked with Botswana physiotherapists in schools, hospitals and outpatient facilities. He also presented at the 2015 Global Health Fair Combined Sections Meeting conference.
Previous to joining The Recovery Project, Hosa practiced at Lynden Family Physical Therapy, an outpatient orthopedic clinic. He evaluated and treated many patients with various diagnoses while supervising and directing physical therapy assistants. He also has experience working with cardiopulmonary, Parkinson’s disease and has conducted research on children with cerebral palsy and performed a study on a palm cooling ergogenic.
