UCS Band-A-Rama rocked Swinehart Field on Sunday

Capacity crowd enjoyed performances by district's four high school marching bands

Marching bands from the four UCS high schools presented their festival shows at the annual Band-A-Rama Sunday night at Swinehart Field.

The show was a preview of the Michigan School Band and Orchestra Association regional festival competition. The annual event raises funds for the Louis Gonda Scholarship, which supports student music camps and lessons.

The bands began the evening with a combined performance of the Star Spangled Banner. The bands then each presented their routines before a sold out crowd.

  • Royalty on a Throne of Music by the Eisenhower Marching Eagles marching band
  • Numbers by the Henry Ford II Falcon marching band
  • Once Upon A Time by the Stevenson Titan marching band
  • We Are Young by the Utica Chieftain marching band
