• Mackinac Straits Corridor Authority to meet June 12 in St. Ignace (michigan.gov) — A key state authority overseeing the Line 5 utility tunnel will hold a public meeting in St. Ignace on Friday, June 12, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Quality Inn conference room. Local residents can attend in person, request accessibility accommodations, and offer three minutes of public comment, or watch the proceedings live on YouTube.
   

• America's fastest growing sport could be coming to this U.P. destination (mlive.com) — St. Ignace residents could soon get four new outdoor pickleball courts at Little Bear East Sports Park if a $50,000 crowdfunding goal is met by July 19 and matched by the state. Local players now rely on temporary indoor courts, and donations to the St. Ignace Pickleball Project can be made online or through the Downtown Development Authority.
