Basic Puppy & Dog Obedience Class

This reward-based training class is designed for puppies from 10 weeks old to 4 months and adult dogs over 4 months old.

For Puppies:

We will focus on obedience, but also on typical puppy behavior issues. It is also a critical period for your dog to be socialized, so getting your dog in a classroom setting with one of our certified Behavior Buddies trainers will help you understand the importance of this process.

For Adults:

We will focus on obedience, and any issues that have become apparent during your dog’s juvenile period, or as we trainers call it, their “teenage” years.  Or may have gotten comfortable in their old age and bit more set in their ways.

Our Basic Level course helps you teach your dog basic manners and work on behavior issues. This is where you will start your journey to having a well-behaved dog by focusing on creating reliable behaviors and getting your dog to understand how to listen. In our Basic Puppy/Dog Training class you will learn commands such as:

• Sit

You will also be taught training tips on how to deal with behavior issues such as:

• Potty/House training

• Chewing

• Jumping
