CARE of Macomb is holding a series of classes on parenting teenagers. The format is a facilitated discussion on improving parents' relationships with their teens as well as encouraging responsibility, self-respect, respectfulness, age-appropriate discipline and finding methods to guide your teens through the issues they face.
The course is based on the Systematic Training for Effective Parenting program.
The book, Parenting Teenagers, by Dinkmeyer and McKay, is required.
