The Edsel & Eleanor Ford House and Detroit Jazz Festival have a new partnership and music lovers will benefit. On Aug. 26 it's time for Jazz at Ford House: A Prelude to the Detroit Jazz Festival. The concert features the Johnny Trudell Orchestra and starts at 7:30 p.m. The grounds open at 6 p.m. for people who'd like to picnic al fresco before the show.
Cost is $25 for preferred seating, which includes reserved seating, parking and shuttle service to concert area ; $15 for general admission in advance or $20 general admission at the gates; $12, general admission in advance for Edsel & Eleanor Ford House Members and Detroit Jazz Festival Rhythm Section Members.
