St. Clair Shores Public Library hosts two special guests for an evening of Lake Erie history. Ohio scuba divers and authors Georgeann and Michael Wachter will share tales of Lake Erie lighthouses 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 9.
The Wachters will talk about haunted lighthouse lore, the tragedies that have surrounded them, the construction of the lighthouses, how they operate, and many of the fascinating stories that surround these beacons.
The Wachters have been diving Lake Erie for more than 15 years, and their books will be available for purchase that evening. Visit their website, www.eriewrecks.com, for more about their explorations.
