MCC Hosts People, Pets and Vets

Macomb Community College is holding its seventh annual People, Pets & Vets event, a hands-on, interactive educational program designed to teach children of all ages about animals and proper animal care.

Children will have the chance to see and touch a variety of animals. They'll learn about exotic pets, working dogs and farm animals. They'll get to speak with animal experts, including veterinarians. Visitors will learn the basics of proper animal care — and beyond. You'll get a chance to discover what takes place in real spay surgery.

And while no pets will be allowed at this seminar, youngsters can bring any "wounded" Teddy Bear in for a special Teddy Bear Clinic for some loving care.
