Not averse to some free verse? Ready for some rhyme times? Macomb Community College holds its 2010 Poetry Festival at both Center and South Campuses.

Featuring noted poets M.L. Liebler (of St. Clair Shores), James Reese, Peter Lewis – as well as the works of Macomb students and faculty — the Day of Poetry includes readings and music on Macomb 's South and Center campuses.

The day begins with a 2-4 p.m. program at the John Dimitry Student Center, P Building, Skylight Café, on Center Campus in Clinton Township. Students will get a chance to share their work on the open mic.
