The Lake St. Clair Symphony Orchestra is celebrating its 50th season and is giving a free concert, "Pops by the Lake," at 7 p.m. July 12, to help kick off the Nautical Mile's Aquafest, which runs July 14-17.
Highlights include the National Anthem, an Armed Forces salute, "An American in Paris," "Sound of Music," "My Fair Lady," a Duke Ellington medley, highlights from "West Side Story," Hoedown from "Rodeo," and more.
The concert will be held at Blossom Heath Park, behind Wahby Park and Blossom Heath Inn.
