Raise a glass and have a good time as St. Isaac Jogues holds its Oktoberfest this weekend. It should be a great festival this year, too, as the forecast looks good with highs near 80 and the lows in the upper 50s.
All the goodies you'd expect will be there, including beer and Vegas tents, plus raffles, live music by the Sun Messengers on Friday night and the Superstars of Rock on Saturday night, games, a Mushball tournament, SIJ Alumni Night on Saturday, a bake sale, and great food from area eateries, including Cloverleaf, Copper Penny, Guelozuetzo Mexican Restaurant, Sabby's, and the SIJ's Men's Club midway tent.
Festival hours are 3 p.m.-midnight Friday, Oct. 7, and 11 a.m.-midnight Saturday, Oct. 8.
