The holidays are quickly approaching, and there's no time like the present to shop for, well, presents.
Viviano Flower Shop will hold its annual Christmas Open House from noon-4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 13, at its St. Clair Shores location.
The florist is really getting into the giving spirit of the season in that it's donating 10 percent of sales during the open house to The Hope Center, which helps individuals and families in need. (Visit www.hopecentermacomb.org for additional details.)

Besides doing some good for a good cause, patrons will have plenty to enjoy, including:
- Shopping in a festive atmosphere for a number of fun and beautiful holiday items, including chocolates, flowers, plants, candles, ornaments and decorative items
- Door prizes and raffle drawings (Proceeds benefit The Hope Center.)
- Carolers singing holiday songs
- Seasonal beverages and cookies.
- A wine tasting, hosted by Filipo Marc Winery
- A poinsettia painting workshop for children
- How to be a gift-wrap star thanks to tips from Lisa's Gift Wrappers
