Why Go: Meet some of the talent comprising the St. Clair Shores Players as well as other supporters and curious folk who drop by for early Valentine's Day fun. Bring a Valentine's Day card to swap if you're interested in participating in the card exchange.
Pricing: No cost to attend. Pay for your own drinks or dinner, however.
2. Where/When: , Saturday, Feb. 12, from 9 a.m. - 9 p.m.
Why Go: Crafty types should have a blast, all for a good cause: The Parents Club at St. Isaac's. You'll get to indulge your creative side, enjoy area vendors, meals all day, take home goodie bags and meet new people.
Pricing: $35 per person.
3. Where/When: , Saturday, Feb. 12, at 8 a.m.
Why Go: Bird watchers should enjoy a morning on the beautiful grounds, guided by Wild Birds Unlimited pro Rosann Kovalcik. Don't forget your binoculars.
Pricing: $7 per person. Reservations required.
4. Where/When: The , Sunday, Feb. 13, from 3 - 8 p.m.
Why Go: It's for a great cause—the Susan G. Komen 3-Day, and is full of live music, raffles, sports memorabilia and more.
Pricing: $5 cover.
5. Where/When: , Monday, Feb. 14, 5 - 9 p.m.
Why Go: If you and yours love to bowl, there's no better evening than this. Or, if you're early in a relationship, this is a fun night and a great way to get to know one another. The evening includes chocolate, a rose, three games, pizza and soft drinks.
Pricing: $21 per couple.
