Great Escape: Playtime at Civic Arena

Every week we feature a different "escape" for people in the Shores. These weekly "escapes" provide ideas for well-deserved breaks.

Moms looking for something to do with their little ones can attend "Stay and Play" from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Thursdays at . 

The free program provides a place for kids to play indoors and gives moms an opportunity to socialize.

Events vary by the week and include crafts and mom and children singing and dancing, along with playtime for the children.

Special events are also planned around the holidays, including an indoor egg hunt and potluck lunch near Easter and trick-or-treating in the Senior Center for Halloween.

Field trips are also planned to events such as Sesame Street Live and Disney on Ice and to places like the and cider mills.
