Harris Gets Serious for Lakeview Wrestling
Senior wrestler Ja'Bree Harris has recorded 27 pins this season.

Ja’Bree Harris knows when it’s time to put on his game face.
The senior wrestler gets down to business when he steps foot on the mat, and his record this season proves it. He is currently 36-12 with 27 pins competing in the 285-pound weight class.
“Outside of wrestling, Ja’Bree is a funny young man with lot of friends and loves to joke,” Lakeview wrestling coach Kenny Lowry said. “But he knows when it’s time to get serious.”

Harris’ focus has paid off for him recently, taking fourth place in the districts. He will compete in the regionals on Saturday, Feb. 19.
“Ja’Bree is our captain and leads by motivating and encouraging his teammates,” said Lowry. “He basically tells them when to get serious. He is very dedicated to the sport and has the passion to help those who need to be pushed.”

After graduation I plan to wrestle at Oakland and coach football and wrestling at Lakeview.
