Lake Shore Rocking the Track? Yes Sirr!
Lake Shore's junior track star James Sirr qualifies for state finals, four times over.

James Sirr rocked the regional track and field meet last week and has qualified for the state finals in four events.
Sirr is the regional champion in the mile run with a time of 4:41 and a member of the regional champion 3200-meter relay team. He placed second in the 800 run in 2:03 and anchored the second-place 1600 relay.
"James had an amazing day at regionals," Lake Shore track coach Jackie Phillips said. "He's our No. 1 distance guy and has had a stellar season so far. He is one of the best distance runners in our division, along with Joe Crachiola of and Ylli Alla of Lamphere."

"He has a pretty low-key personality, but he's also funny," said Phillips. "He loves video games, particularly Call of Duty. He's very focused when it comes to running, works hard in practice and totally coachable."
