Teachers, students and staff in Lakeview Public Schools wore hats Friday for charity.

The club Huskies with Heart sponsored the event, which collected money from participants who wore hats and will use the proceeds to purchase food for those in need.

More than 100 volunteers gather on Oct. 16 at to prepare bags of food to be sent around the city, state and nation.
