Runaway Driver Arrested In Roseville Crash After Woman's Body Found Inside Truck: Police
Police said the man was driving a truck with a dead woman in the bed. She showed signs of strangulation, according to police.

ROSEVILLE, MI — A 19-year-old man was arrested after police found a dead woman inside a truck he crashed Thursday in Roseville, the Macomb County Sheriff's Office said.
Stephen Freeman was charged with receiving and concealing a body and concealing the death of an individual, officials said. Both charges are felonies punishable with five years in prison if convicted.
Freeman was placed in jail with a $75,000 cash bond. If he is released from jail, he must wear a GPS tether, officials said. His next court date is Nov. 9 at 8:30 a.m.

Police said Freeman ran away from a blue pickup truck after crashing Thursday afternoon in the area of Common and Hayes roads on the Warren/Roseville border.
While investigating the crash, officers found the body of 62-year-old Gabrielle Seitz in the truck's bed, officials said.

Prosecutors said Seitz had a shoelace around her neck and clear signs of strangulation, according to Fox 2 Detroit. They initially asked for a $250,000 bond, but were denied by a judge because officials are still investigating the incident.
Officials have not determined a cause of death, but said Freeman is a person of interest in the ongoing investigation into Seitz’s death.
"Because the investigation is ongoing, we are limited on what can be said at this time. However, when we have additional information from the investigation, we will be updating everyone," said Macomb County Prosecutor Peter Lucido.
