Police Blotter: Suspects in Car Item Theft Arrested, Lewd Act Investigated

The following information is gathered from the St. Clair Shores Police Department. Arrests do not indicate conviction.

Car break-in suspects arrested

Two St. Clair Shores men are charged with larceny from an vehicle for allegedly taking items from vehicles Aug. 3 in the area of Rio Vista and Jefferson. Steven Altadonna, 17, and James Head, 19, were arrested after police were called about two males going through cars. Police stopped the males and discovered a cell phone charger allegedly stolen from a vehicle. They are free on $10,000, or 10 percent, bond.

Police were called Aug. 2 to the 21900 block of Rosedale after receiving a report of three males taking rims and tires off a vehicle. When police arrived, the men fled. Police did locate a stolen mini-van on the block, with other possible stolen tires.

A resident in the 21100 block of Bon Brae reported Aug. 1 someone attempted to break into the home by cutting the screen.

Lewd act

Police are investigating a report of an elderly customer who was thrown out of the restaurant after allegedly committing a lewd act at a table.

Energy drinks stolen

Police were called to the on Harper Aug. 1 after a woman allegedly placed a four-pack of Red Bull, and a six-pack of 5-hour Energy, in her purse and left without paying. She then fled in Jeep Cherokee. 

Broken windshield

A resident reported Aug. 2 that someone smashed the windshield of his vehicle, parked at the intersection of Beach and Jefferson, with a piece of concrete.
