St. Clair Shores Police Respond to Alleged Armed Man
St. Clair Shores police responded Thursday night to a home on Bon Heur for a reportedly armed man. He was arrested without incident.

A St. Clair Shores man in his 30s was arrested Thursday night after police were called to his home following reports he was armed and "despondent."
St. Clair Shores Police Lt. David Centala said officers and the department's emergency response team were sent out about 9 p.m. Thursday to a home in the 20000 block of Bon Heur.
He said there were reports of a despondent person, and the subject was inside the house armed.

Officers attempted to talk to the man by phone, and he refused to comply and exit the house, Centala said.
The man fled the house, and was located in a neighbor's garage by K9 officer Chase.

He was arrested without incident, and no firearms were recovered. Charges have not been filed.
