TEAM Schostak Family Restaurants Raises More Than $1,470 For Motown Museum

TEAM Schostak Family Restaurants (TSFR), a Michigan-based family-owned restaurant group with an expansive portfolio of casual, quick service and family dining restaurants throughout the state, and five of its Applebee’s restaurant locations raised $1,477 benefiting Motown Museum through a one-day Dine to Donate. TSFR Director of Marketing Barb Pasciak made the announcement.

Throughout the day, 10 percent of all guests’ food sales from the participating restaurants were donated to the Museum. The funds have been earmarked to help support the Museum’s mission to protect and preserve the legacy of Motown and encourage the next generation of musicians, artists and entrepreneurs by providing an educational platform for emerging talent in the Detroit community through events and other educational opportunities.

The following TSFR Applebee’s restaurants participated in the Dine to Donate:

• 2111 W. Eight Mile Rd., Detroit
• 13301 Middlebelt Rd., Livonia
• 455 Haggerty Hwy., Commerce Township
• 29177 Southfield Rd., Southfield
• 17101 Haggerty, Northville

“As Motown Museum is an integral part of metro Detroit’s rich musical and cultural history, it was an honor to partner with them and support their efforts in ensuring the Motown legacy lives on in our city,” said Pasciak. “We are thankful for all those in our local communities who came out and supported this great cause. It was a memorable event for families and friends alike to come together, share a meal and learn more about the inspiring story behind Motown.”

The Motown Museum, founded by Esther Gordy Edwards in 1985, is one of Southeast Michigan’s most popular tourist destinations. Home to an extensive array of Motown artifacts, photographs and other memorabilia, the Museum celebrates the deep musical, cultural and social influence that continues to impact society and live on in a relevant way today around the world.
