girls softball team hosted Macomb Area Conference White Division rival  Grosse Pointe North on Monday afternoon and fans got exactly what they expected out of the two evenly matched teams—a competitive ballgame.

A bases-loaded, seventh-inning walk to Lady Huskies hurler Ali Lince forced in the winning run and gave Lakeview a 3-2 victory over the Lady Norsemen.

The win pushes the Huskies record to 3-2 in the division, while North slips to 2-2 in the MAC White.
