Whiz Kids: St. Clair Shores Sharks

• Whiz Kids' Names: Scott Castro, Aaron Deskins, Sam Gaglio, Dwain Goodlow, Vincente Johnson, Andy Linsdeau, Brandon Marchiori, Stephen Mazurkiewicz, Suezanne Pauli, Sean Phelps, Todd Shields and Josh White.
• Whiz Kids' Accomplishment: The team now qualifies for the State Basketball Finals to be held Friday and Saturday in Rockford, MI.
• Whiz Kids' Key to Awesomeness: The St. Clair Shores Sharks won the Division 8 championship at the Special Olympics regional basketball tournament held March 5 at Northville High School. The Sharks defeated the Farmington Lightning in the first round 40-20. In the championship game, the St. Clair Shores defeated the Downriver ARC Sharks 45-34.

Every Wednesday a child in St. Clair Shores will be recognized for his or her achievements and identified as the St. Clair Shores Patch Whiz Kid.
