• Universally Accessible Playground Nearing Fruition In Suttons Bay (leelanauticker.com) — A universally accessible playground is being planned for Herman Park in Suttons Bay, and organizers are working to raise $350,000 to start construction as early as this fall. Backed by state and tribal grants plus local donations, the project would be Leelanau County’s first fully inclusive playground, designed so kids of all abilities can play together and enjoy six key elements of play.
