• Tawas City adopts FY 2026-2027 budget (iosconews.com) — Tawas City has approved its 2026-2027 budget, setting new slightly reduced property tax millage rates and outlining how more than $6.5 million will be spent on streets, public safety, utilities, and other services. The plan details funding for mosquito control, pensions, water and sewer operations, and everyday services like parks, rubbish collection, and road maintenance that residents rely on.
