Our client in the Midtown area of Detroit (think Lodge Freeway / Fisher Building area) is seeking Microassemblers for their manufacturing facility. This facility is dust free, clean and temperature controlled. Natural light pours in from the surrounding windows and the parking is free and secured. Our client is seeking individuals that have fine motor skills, 20/20 vision (corrected) and are exceptionally detailed. All candidates MUST have a solid work history and are subject to a background check and drug screen.

The parts are very small (think the size of sequins, rhinestones, rice and pencil erasers) and the tools of the trade are fine point tweezers and a stylus (similar to that used by Nail Art Technicians). Latex finger cots are required.
The starting wage is $11 per hour and this position is scheduled as a contract-to-hire. The schedule is 7:30 am – 4:10 pm. However, they are currently working on mandatory OT until 6:30 pm.
