Fuel Report: Average Gas Prices Slowly Declining

As the weather gets warmer, gas prices are finally starting to cool off.

According to AAA, Tuesday's average price for regular gas was $4.089 per gallon, down from $4.146 one week ago. The price is, however, much higher than last year's average of $2.885 per gallon.

The cheapest price in Trenton on Tuesday was $3.91 at Future Fuels at Fort St. and Van Horn Rd. The price is lowered to $3.91 when coupled with a car wash.

Here are some of the lowest regular gas prices in and around Trenton:

• Sunoco, 3461 W Jefferson Ave.: $3.99

• BP, 25025 Allen Rd.: $4.09

• Marathon, 4350 W Jefferson Ave.: $4.09
