Fuel Report: Average Regular Gas Price Increases Slightly

As the summer time heat rolls in, gas prices continue to increase slowly.

The average regular gas price for Metro Detroit increased slightly Wednesday morning to $3.955 a gallon, up from $3.948 Monday.

The lowest price for regular gas Wednesday morning was $3.89 at Future Fuels at Fort Street and Van Horn.

Here are some of the lowest gas prices in and around Trenton:

• Future Fuels, 4407 Fort St.: $3.89

• Marathon, 4350 West Jefferson: $3.89

• BP, 21055 West Rd.: $4.09

• BP, 25025 Allen Rd.: $4.09
