• Last-second touchdown helps D2 No. 5 Carlson football complete thrilling comeback win vs Trenton (thenewsherald.com) — Trenton High's football team came up just short in a dramatic Downriver League showdown at Gibraltar Carlson, falling 21-14 on a last-second touchdown after leading most of the night. The Trojans' defense and special teams shined early, but Carlson's late surge flipped the game and the league standings. Trenton now prepares to host defending Division 3 state champion DeWitt next week.
