When are they going to do something about the railroad tracks at Van Horn and Allen Road?
On Friday, the 20th, at about 4:15 I was coming down Allen toward the tracks and Allen was backed up all the way to the entrance of Meijer. Yes, that's correct. Past West Rd. to Meijer. I went east on West to Fort and made a right going south. Guess what happened next. Fort was backup up to the first turn-around. What is that 1.5 miles or more. Now I went on the turn-around to West toward West Jefferson. That was back-up because off the tracks being blocked.
Something should be done. Trains just "sit" across the tracks for so long that it becomes dangerous. Time to do something is long overdo.
